The Warehouse Associate will be kitting and packaging materials, inserting screws into bags, labeling, packaging products, and preparing them for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, as it involves working with small parts, special packaging, and printing out labels. The position is critical within our Operations team, efficiently performing all warehouse operations including receipt, storage, packaging, and shipment of products.
Responsibilities- Promptly and accurately fulfill customer orders by pulling, packing, and shipping products.
- Interact with Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, safely, and on-time.
- Receive and inspect incoming products for accuracy and store them in the proper location according to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse, including proper storage and staging of orders.
- Inspect customer returns for accuracy and damage, and determine if the product is acceptable.
- Ensure inventory accuracy surpasses industry standards by performing daily cycle counts.
- Monitor the demand for all warehouse supplies, resources, and activities in relation to company goals and objectives.
- Process material certifications, certifications of compliance, and certifications of origin.
- Continuously improve through goal setting and utilizing educational resources.
- Document, file, and organize paperwork in alignment with our Quality Program.
- Ensure, promote, and maintain a safe working environment for all associates, including surveying the facility for continuous improvement opportunities, repair, and maintenance.
- Promote and perform our core values of customer focus, quality, integrity, respect, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Perform custom kitting for key accounts and prepare packages for shipping.
- Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment towards a shared vision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to use basic power tools.
- Experience with RF scanners.

Work EnvironmentShift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday. This is likely a 4-6 week contract role with potential for redeployment within a day or two for another opportunity. The work environment is a clean warehouse/office setting with library-like racks.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Henrico, Virginia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
