Job Description
Our client, a reputable company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join their team on the east side of Columbus, OH. This position will be starting on a contract-to-hire basis with the plan to turn permanent based on performance. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of their office.
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible to:
Greet visitors, answer and direct phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing mail.
Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, place orders as needed, and ensure timely delivery.
Help enter invoices for accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Serve as a point of contact for internal employees, guests, and vendors, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Assist with any special projects as assigned, providing support to various departments as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of proven experience as an Office Manager, Receptionist, or similar role.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. This role will have interruptions so it is important to be able to pivot back once done.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
