As a part of the Financial Operations Team this role would be dedicated to supporting pricing and pipeline activity across all of SRI. Financial Operations is a team of about 40 business managers, pricing analysts, proposal coordinators and financial project administrators. The work in this area focuses on government contracting/grants, commercial opportunities and financial revenue models. The SRI Pricing Manager is a vital role providing professional, experienced, and trained pricing resources as well as efficient applications across business operations and key pipeline metrics for senior leadership decision making. Responsible for pricing oversight, managing a team of varying skillsets, defining training procedures, evaluating resource requirements, and driving implementation of pricing processes and applications; monitoring profitability of pricing strategy, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters. The Pricing Manager will partner with senior management and key stakeholders to support the P3 Team to attain best in class level of support. Experience with strategy and thought partner leadership is a must.
This role will be fully remote, but we do have team members sitting in the offices in Arlington, VA, Princeton, NJ, and Menlo Park, CA. Responsibilities
Manage and supervise (direct or dotted line) pricing analysts
Provide analysis and continuous monitoring of planned strategic investment, profitability, and other key metrics by developing reports Partner with finance, accounting, contracts, legal and human resources etc. to ensure compliance with SRI policy and industry regulations i.e., government contracting, CAS, FAR Develop training documentation for all users, ensure annual training compliance and improve internal audit outcomes by owning and incorporating management action plans Responsible for ensuring pricing formats are efficiently exportable into the project planning tool Lead in developing, improving, and executing processes to ensure pricing discipline across SRI Orchestrate multi-department stakeholders (contracts, subcontracts, procurement, accounting, and division proposal leaders) to create efficient, compliant, and coordinated solutions Propose value-added strategies to increase profitability and/or p-win Develop consistent eRouting requirements for senior leadership Develop consistent definitions of p-win and limited definitions of work type such as: existing, follow-on, and new work to improve data integrity Understand government contracting proposal cycle and provide dependable, timely support Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Business Administration , a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 15 years experience in proposal preparation and analysis experience for a government contractor Candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Experience with Deltek/Costpoint and working knowledge of FAR/CAS requirements Familiar with US GAAP, including understanding how to read government contracts and RFPs P3 Team member or close partner (ideal) Advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office tools Ability to work independently Proven team-building skills and experience managing a distributed staff. Proven track record at performing well in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Effective communicator, including excellent writing skills and the ability present plans and findings in compelling ways. Strong interpersonal and supervision skills. The salary range is: $99,088-$164,110/annually. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
