We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workday Scheduling Management software. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies, a proven track record of successful IT implementations, and a deep understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) processes. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Lead and manage all phases of the Workday Scheduling Management implementation project, including planning, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and document system configurations. Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution. Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, challenges, and successes. Oversee the development and execution of testing plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Coordinate training programs for end-users and system administrators. Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user questions, and ensuring system stability. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies related to HCM and project management. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an IT environment. Proven experience with the full lifecycle of IT implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong understanding of HCM processes, including workforce planning, scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll. Experience with Workday or other HCM software is highly preferred. PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
