Summary As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-13, you will be part of Suitability Executive Agent Programs, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for analyzing SuitEA Operations business practices and workload management and providing recommendations for needed improvements and changes. Responsibilities Provide Program Manager with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and program aspects of SuitEA Operations management. Analyze new or proposed legislation, regulations, or other government-wide vetting documents to determine impact on internal program operations and management, as well as the impact on the overall Federal vetting community. Conducts studies of vetting related matters that require research or analysis of various data points, statistics, laws, and policy issuances. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen or National Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation May be required to successfully complete a probationary period Complete the initial online assessment and USAHire Assessment, if required This position is not eligible for inclusion in a bargaining unit Qualifications For the GS 13: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level which includes: 1) reviewing organizational processes to identify opportunities for improvement; 2) providing input into the development of innovative methodologies to make adjudication processes more efficient and effective; 3) preparing responses to requests or inquiries, such as Congressional requests for information. Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
