Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company based in Yardley, PA. We are currently seeking to hire a temporary senior accountant to assist us through the end of the year. This position may have the potential to transition into a permanent role. We are looking for candidates with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience and ideally local to the Yardley office, as the role requires working on-site two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday).
Location: Yardley, PA
Pay: $35-$43/hr.

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
Location: Yardley, PA
Pay: $35-$43/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Manage the General Ledger, including posting journal entries and maintaining account reconciliations.
- Perform reconciliations of various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports as needed.
- Experience with SOX compliance and understanding of internal control frameworks.
- Knowledge of consolidation processes and techniques.
- Strong reconciliation skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience working in a global company, with an understanding of international financial regulations and practices.
- On-site work required two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday).
- Work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.
