We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager for a large sized firm. The role is based near Woodbridge, New Jersey. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including payroll and account reconciliations, and the implementation of accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy

• Manage payroll functions, including monitoring and auditing payroll to ensure compliance

• Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions

• Utilize Oracle PeopleSoft and other accounting software systems for financial management

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate billing

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for financial management and reporting

• Implement new system functionalities as needed to improve efficiency

• Ensure adherence to auditing standards in all accounting operations.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Payroll management

• Experience in Manual Payroll procedures

• Ability to handle Month End Close operations
