Retail Banking Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Retail Banking Specialist with 4 or more years of experience working in a bank, for a full-time job in Newtown, Massachusetts. This is an excellent contract to hire role within the Banking industry.
Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, needs, and concerns, and escalate issues to the appropriate internal resources for resolution when necessary.
• Accurately and efficiently process various customer transactions in line with bank policies and regulations, including opening, servicing, and closing all account products (CDs, Money Market, Statement Savings, and Retirement accounts).
• Enhance customer satisfaction and reputation by warmly greeting and engaging with customers, fostering professional relationships.
• Conduct select teller transactions such as processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing monetary instruments, and placing stop payments.
• Open and process incoming mail, complete logs, reports, audits, and control checks.
• Monitor and process daily exception files for ACH and inclearing files.
• Make decisions on rejected items.
• Perform account research and assist branches, retail management, and back-office units with item processing or retrieval of items.
• Process manual cash letters or force-post items that cannot be sent electronically.
• Review large inclearing items and submit those requiring management review for payment.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of previous Banking experience

Salary: $22-26/hr
 

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
