Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description The Electrical Engineer designs advanced electrical components and sub-assemblies with minimal support. This position reports to the Manager, Electronics Research and Engineering or Manager, RF Products. The role involves participating in multi-discipline design efforts with a high awareness of design implications within a team environment. Responsibilities Detail and design electrical components and electrical sub-assemblies Research, test, and assemble electrical components and electrical sub-assemblies Troubleshoot production problems Assist in the documentation of components and sub-assemblies Maintain documentation and/or logbook Responsible for maintaining design documentation for review purposes Participate in multi-discipline design efforts with high awareness of design implications within team environment Provide research support, understand new technologies, and support product innovation Support specialty electrical designs with a high degree of technical independence Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation for material analysis Knowledge of life science industry applications such as mass spectrometers Experience with analog, digital, and mixed signal designs Familiarity with high-end FPGAs, high-performance low noise solutions, and high bit count designs Experience with industrial electronics design Comfortable working with single phase systems, most of which are 25 volts or lower Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
