Senior Director, Global Immunoassay Product Management
for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading a team of Product Managers, championing future & on-market products, and fostering a culture of innovation. This role will lead strategic initiatives for growth opportunities, maximizing business potential through innovation, partnerships, and lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities: Define disease leadership strategies in partnership with Product Portfolio & Strategy Managers, leading market research to identify unmet clinical needs and technological trends. Identify new product development opportunities to enhance Beckman Coulter’s strategic positioning. Translate new product ideas into clear product definitions for execution by New Product Development (NPD) teams. Lead a high-performing team of global Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with R&D and Clinical & Regulatory Affairs to drive innovation execution. Work with Global Marketing and other stakeholders to bring new products to market and ensure successful launches. Champion a culture of creativity and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle. Minimum Requirements: 20+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, or medicine; OR 18+ years with a Master's degree; Ph.D. or M.D. preferred. Proven track record in leading innovative product management teams for at least six years within the Diagnostics industry or a related field. Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape governing Medical Devices and Diagnostics. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills. Collaborative leadership style with a strong track record of driving results. Experience in building and coaching effective product management teams. Extensive experience in communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years in Immunoassay Diagnostics product management or development. Experience in Cardiac, Metabolic, Endocrine, and/or Reproductive health. Partnership experience with external organizations to deliver new product innovation. Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this role is $220,000 - $275,000. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
