Job Title: Accounting Associate
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Pay Range: $24/HR-$28/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounting Associate with our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL. Our client is a small, well-established private investment firm who currently has experienced growth. They’re looking for an experienced Accounting Associate to join their organization to assist them with AP and AR tasks. This Accounting Associate will be hired on a contract to hire basis, and the ideal candidate would be available to interview and start ASAP!
Accounting Associate Responsibilities:
- Post cash receipts daily
- Research and resolve misapplied and unapplied payments
- Handle collection activity and reach out to past due customers
- Enter and process AP invoices daily
- Identify and resolve AP invoice issues
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve AP invoice issues
- Monitor AP accruals
- Perform weekly check run
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of AP & AR experience
- Experience working within Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
