You will serve as a

SECURITY SPECIALIST

in the

ASSISTANT CHIEF of STAFF, G1 of EDUCATION COMMAND . Responsibilities

You will: Develop, edit and maintain command security instructions that provide sufficient guidance for the execution of the command security program. Draft, transmit, receive and acknowledge electronic mail and messages. Develop and manage security measures for the protection of classified material, ensuring that all classified material is properly marked, secured, stored, controlled and safeguarded. Be responsible for the development, dissemination, and supervision of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) for the protection and destruction of classified information and material. Ensure that all security violations or incidents involving possible compromise are reported, recorded and investigated when necessary. Requirements

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and reviewing security issues, standards, guidelines AND Planning, coordinating, developing, directing, executing/implementing all information/personnel security policies, activities, and procedures.
