Senior HR Generalist

Position Summary:

The Senior HR Generalist will be part of the corporate PSG HR team and will support the PSG Corporate functions of Finance, Operations, Digital Solutions, and Marketing/Engineering in the roll out of company HR policies and programs, talent & development management, compensation & benefits, and employee relations in support of the overall business objectives of the organization and the Global HR team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits and HRIS maintenance.
  2. Implement and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  3. Support the recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting hiring managers in the onboarding process.
  4. Work closely with the team to develop a stronger social media presence that supports the talent and attraction strategy.
  5. Work with managers and employees to assess their needs and develop an individual or functional tailored development program.
  6. Provide guidance and support to department managers and employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  7. As needed, conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues effectively and fairly.
  8. Support employee engagement activities.
  9. Support employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers.
  10. Support M&A Due Diligence activities as well as implementation of acquisitions.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  12. Stay abreast of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline with 5 years HR experience.
  2. Understanding of Federal labor law and compliance.
  3. Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical/analytical thinking skills; organized with a long-term outlook in any decision.
  5. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage a variety of tasks to achieve results.
  6. Maintains a professional, collaborative demeanor in performing duties adhering to strict confidentiality.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  8. Microsoft Office and HRIS system proficiency.

Desired Characteristics:

  1. Domestic mobility (i.e. ability to relocate domestically for future assignments).
  2. Preferred experience with SAP Success Factors.
  3. Preferred experience with ADP.
  4. Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks; strong attention to detail.
  5. Flexible and embraces change to foster success.
  6. Collaborative team member.
