Job Title: Healthcare Recruiter

Reports to: Chief People Officer 

Compensation:  $75k-$95k total compensation (base plus 10% quarterly incentive)   

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to meet the staffing needs of our organization. The Healthcare Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that we attract top talent who are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our patients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sourcing and Attracting Candidates: 
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals, including Medical Assistants, LPNs, Behavioral Health, Dieticians and Pharmacy Technicians.  
  • Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, professional networks, career fairs, and partnerships with educational institutions. 
  • Screening and Interviewing: 
  • Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. 
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both virtual and in-person, with hiring managers and department heads. 
  • Candidate Relationship Management: 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, providing excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them informed about the status of their application and next steps. 
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: 
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, department goals, and specific job requirements. 
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and candidate availability. 
  • Offer Management and Onboarding: 
  • Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring competitive compensation and benefits packages. 
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organization. 
  • Data Management and Reporting: 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS). 
  • Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction. 
  • Compliance and Best Practices: 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment and human resources. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.   
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a full life cycle recruiter in the healthcare industry hiring for virtual/remote roles.   
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare roles and requirements. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and using applicant tracking systems (ATS), experience with JazzHR is a plus.  
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • Certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) or recruitment (AIRS, CIR, CDR) is a plus.   
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting and staffing for healthcare organizations.  
  • Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards and requirements.
