Under the direction of the H.R. Director, the H.R. Coordinator will support the daily operations of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing HR processes, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • General HR Administrative Tasks: Updating employee referral log, processing pre-employment items, wage verifications, etc.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and maintaining the candidate pipeline.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Backup for HR Generalist for onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Support: Assist with UKG log in issues, ordering dental ID cards, and answering general employee questions.
  • Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration, including assisting with employee inquiries and updating records.
  • General HR Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, organizing HR events, and assisting with special projects.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role (preferred).

Skills:

  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR software and HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to think critically.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit for long periods of time during a regular workday.
  • Long hours on keyboard.
  • Use hands and arms to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
  • Able to bend and squat.
