Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Acute Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Beautiful Coastal Texas!
Will consider both locum and perm candidates !
The candidate shall cover the PICU and the Intermediate Care Unit! The unit is 24/7 and will include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays. Candidate will most likely work 12 hour shifts! Flexible scheduling, required. Quality Children's Hospital with cutting edge technology and work with a great team! 200-bed pediatric tertiary care center with more than 30 medical and surgical specialties offering care throughout South Texas. We have a level III and IV NICU in and are in the process of building a pediatric hospital which will have a level III NICU and PICU amongst other subspecialty services. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE (APRN)

- Master s or Post Master s Degree, Required.
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioners Program with practice authority in the State of Texas, Required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric acute care experience, required.
- BLS, PALS and ACLS required.
- Knowledge of EMR systems, preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.
- Advanced Practice Certification, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care (CPNP-AC), required.
- Active and unencumbered nurse practitioner and registered nurse license in the State of Texas, required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
