Korzen Health is searching for a Full time Psychiatrist for inpatient role at a new hospital location.

Inpatient psychiatric care in a newly opened 20-bed adult unit May include GME faculty role and or medical directorship and optional ECT service. One weekend per month of call/rounding, one night per week of night-call. PRN Psychiatrist role for weekend and ad-hoc coverage also available. Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients admitted to the inpatient unit Review medical records and conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive information Formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria and clinical findings Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry Current state medical license and DEA registration Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred
