About the job Psychiatrist FT - Outpatient
Position Overview:
Korzen Health is seeking a compassionate, board-certified Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team in Bowling Green, KY. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule. This is outpatient psychiatry with a focus on collaborative, integrated care. You will work in close collaboration with mid-level providers to deliver quality, patient-centered care.
J-1 and H-1B are acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients admitted to the inpatient unit Review medical records and conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive information Formulate accurate diagnoses based on DSM-5 criteria and clinical findings Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting as necessary for optimal outcomes Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Qualifications:
MD or DO in Psychiatry Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Licensed to practice in Kentucky (or eligible for licensure) Active DEA J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply
