Investment bank located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “US Head Of Foreign Exchange (FX) & Commodities Surveillance–Director” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / week).
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a team of FX surveillance analysts in New York, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee and enhance the FX, commodities, and derivatives trade surveillance program.
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business units, senior management, and regulators to address regulatory concerns.
- Lead long-term planning and prioritize multiple projects to enhance surveillance operations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior/executive management on FX surveillance activities, risks, and compliance status.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the FX surveillance program remains effective and forward-thinking.
