Investment bank located in Midtown Manhattan looking to bring on board a “US Head Of Foreign Exchange (FX) & Commodities Surveillance–Director” to join their team. This role is currently in a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / week). Responsibilities:
Build and manage a team of FX surveillance analysts in New York, providing guidance and support. Oversee and enhance the FX, commodities, and derivatives trade surveillance program. Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Collaborate with business units, senior management, and regulators to address regulatory concerns. Lead long-term planning and prioritize multiple projects to enhance surveillance operations. Provide regular reports and updates to senior/executive management on FX surveillance activities, risks, and compliance status. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the FX surveillance program remains effective and forward-thinking. Seniority level
