The Director of Institutional Sales will be responsible for:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to attract and retain institutional clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the institutional market. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors. Present the firm's investment strategies and performance to prospective clients. Lead capital-raising efforts for new and existing investment products. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Expand the client base within target market segments through strategic planning and market research. Lead presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations. Negotiate terms of agreements and contracts. Mentor junior team members. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management. The Director of Institutional Sales should have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in institutional sales and business development within the investment management industry. Proven track record of raising capital from institutional investors. In-depth understanding of global investment markets and long-only equity investment strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong work ethic and commitment to exceeding client expectations. Seniority level
