Job Title: Director of Institutional Sales
Position Summary:
Tradesk Securities is seeking a seasoned Director of Institutional Equity Sales to lead our institutional distribution strategy across public markets. This senior-level role is responsible for originating and deepening relationships with institutional investors to drive participation in public equity offerings, including IPOs, follow-ons, ADRs, SPACs, and block trades. You’ll work closely with the syndicate and banking teams to drive participation in new issues and help grow our footprint in the capital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive investor engagement and execution across public equity deals including IPOs, follow-ons, ADRs, SPACs, and secondary transactions.
- Originate, grow, and maintain relationships with institutional investors (RIAs, asset managers, hedge funds, and family offices).
- Distribute ADRs of international issuers to U.S. institutional investors, supporting capital raises and secondary offerings.
- Provide guidance on ADR structure, trading, and market dynamics, while coordinating with syndicate, trading desks, and depositary banks.
- Deliver market intelligence and feedback to internal teams on investor appetite and positioning.
- Support capital raising for select private placements (e.g. PIPEs or pre-IPO rounds) when aligned with investor interest.
- Represent the firm in deal roadshows, investor meetings, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all sales and distribution activities are compliant with FINRA/SEC regulations and internal procedures.
- Assist with regulatory requirements and the application process for new FINRA licenses as needed to support the firm’s evolving business lines
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of experience in institutional equity sales, with a strong track record in public offerings and ADRs
- Established network of institutional investors and a demonstrated ability to generate and close deals.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required; Series 24 a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, market acumen, and a client-first mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA is a plus.
