Senior Test Engineer / Test Manager Location:
Massachusetts - Hanscom AFB - Hanscom AFB, MA 01731 US (Primary) Job Description: Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity to support the C3C / Kessel Run (KR) Division, which is within the USAF C3BM Directorate. In this role, you will provide support for test planning, validation, and verification support services to the Test Chief for the organization and the Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System (WS). This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Remote/Telework is possible. Responsibilities: Providing program level test & acquisition support to the Program Manager and Branch leadership. Documenting review, test concept development, and test methodology development. Providing support and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful program execution. Supporting development of various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks. Reviewing program documentation and providing comments with test & evaluation perspective. Outlining policy disconnects, policy interpretation, and management of test efforts. Planning, evaluating and implementing program test strategies. Keeping abreast of DoD test & acquisition policies and USAF Instructions. Selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problems. Reviewing and evaluating the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results from test engineering tasks. Evaluating the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments. Deconflicting schedule conflicts between multiple releases and test environments. Using knowledge of DoD and USAF test policy to advise on risks and opportunities related to the test program. 10 years of directly related experience with 4 years of experience in a DoD setting Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps. Experience with DoD Test and Processes. Understanding of cloud architectures and impacts to testing methods. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications:
