Architectural Project Manager
with 15 to 25 years of working experience to join our team. This role requires hands-on management of complex multi-unit projects, including multifamily housing, student housing, commercial, or mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing the full project life cycle, from concept design through construction, and will possess the leadership skills to manage both teams and client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Manage and lead all phases of architectural projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget. Oversee the design and execution of multi-unit projects, including multifamily, student housing, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Coordinate with various stakeholders to handle project schedules, budgets, and construction administration.
Design Oversight: Provide direction on design, planning, and specifications while maintaining quality and compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Ensure projects adhere to design intent and quality standards throughout all phases.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Best Practices: Implement and maintain best practices and project documentation for effective project management.
Qualifications: Experience:
15 to 25 years in architectural project management, focusing on multi-unit projects such as multifamily housing, student housing, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field. Technical Skills:
Basic working knowledge of Revit software is required. Proficiency with project management tools and processes.
Knowledge:
Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes. Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail Orientation:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional architectural software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.). LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices.
