The University of Florida (UF) Department of Medicine is seeking an experienced, board-certified Geriatrician to serve as the Chief of the Division of Geriatric Medicine. This full-time faculty position is available at the Associate or Professor level, offering an exceptional opportunity to provide strategic leadership for a nationally recognized program in clinical care, education, and research.
Position Highlights:
- Lead a dynamic team of faculty and fellows in advancing geriatric clinical care, education, and research
- Oversee clinical services, including outpatient primary care, inpatient consultative geriatrics, and skilled nursing facility care
- Collaborate with the UF Institute on Aging, Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC), and Alzheimers Disease Research Center to drive research and innovation
- Recruit and mentor faculty to expand the divisions impact locally, regionally, and nationally
- Flexible Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with a light call schedule
- Located within one hour of both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean

Position Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified in Geriatrics
- Proven leadership experience in clinical, educational, and research initiatives
- A track record of academic excellence, mentorship, and program development
