We are an event planning company looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee our warehouse operations and event logistics. In this role, you will manage a team of up to five employees, ensuring that all event furniture and fixtures are properly transported, set up, torn down, and packed up. You will also play a key role in the warehouse, directing the team in wrapping and storing inventory to keep everything organized and ready for future events.
salary: $35,339.2 - $46,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Lead a team of up to five employees in warehouse and event logistics tasks Drive a box truck to transport event furniture and fixtures to and from event sites Coordinate drop-offs, set-ups, tear-downs, and pack-ups of event equipment Ensure proper wrapping, organizing, and storage of inventory in the warehouse Maintain a clean and efficient workspace for easy access to event materials Provide direction and hands-on assistance to team members during event setups and breakdowns Ensure all transportation and setup activities are completed on schedule Follow safety procedures for loading, unloading, and handling event materials Communicate effectively with event planners and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues as they arise during events and warehouse tasks
The essential functions of this role include: working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week working weekends
