Position Title: Print Production Specialist & Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to join our team. This marketing role focuses on the preparation and oversight of high-quality digital prints using advanced software and large-format printing technology. Additionally, this role provides supplementary support for the marketing team through print production, document updates, and additional incidental tasks.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications and proficiency with preparing files for RIP software (Caldera GrandRIP+ Enterprise software) for the Acuity Prime Series. This role involves direct customer interaction, requiring excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of our product offerings and capabilities. Help take customers’ initial print concepts and artwork submissions to fully prepared production files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print Design and Pre-Production:
  • Utilize Adobe Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to prepare, edit, and finalize files for customer approval and production printing.
  • Ensure print files meet technical specifications for large-format printing.
  • Manage color calibration and profile settings to maintain output consistency and quality.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate with customers to understand their project requirements and provide technical advice on material and printing options.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure final products meet their expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Product Knowledge and Recommendations:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our printing capabilities, materials, and product offerings.
  • Advise customers on the best solutions to meet their design and production needs.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect printed materials for accuracy, color fidelity, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Marketing Support:
  • Work collaboratively with Graphic Designer to maintain and update collateral.
  • File preparation and vendor communication for marketing materials.
  • Create and update internal visual reference documents.
  • Additional administrative tasks.
  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to coordinate schedules and prioritize jobs.
  • Share expertise and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of Large-Format Printing Process for backup purposes:
  • Basic knowledge of operating a Fuji Acuity Prime Hybrid CMYK/White printer and the Caldera GrandRIP+ Enterprise software that manages print jobs, optimizes layouts, and ensures efficient production workflows. Training will be provided.

Task Breakdown:

Print Production & Prepress: 50%

Marketing Support: 50%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
