Position Overview
The Amazon Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting Lumē’s Amazon team by analyzing performance trends, generating reports, and providing data-driven insights that help drive decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Amazon Analytics & Growth, this role will focus on tracking key metrics, identifying performance shifts, and ensuring stakeholders have the data they need to optimize sales, advertising, inventory position, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets. They should be proficient in data visualization and reporting, with a strong understanding of eCommerce performance metrics. While experience with Amazon data is a plus, candidates with a general background in eCommerce or CPG analytics will also be well-suited for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and report on key Amazon performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker, Google Sheets, and other BI tools to track performance trends and provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Identify and investigate data trends—helping the team understand what’s driving changes in sales and profitability.
- Assist in forecasting and business planning efforts by analyzing historical data, seasonality, and performance trends.
- Support cross-functional collaboration by sharing insights with Amazon operators, the marketing team, and the broader Insights team.
- Monitor competitive trends and summarize key takeaways that impact Amazon performance.
- Maintain oversight over A/B tests, track performance results, and maintain a structured record of test outcomes to inform future optimization efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce analytics, CPG analytics, or a related data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization).
- Experience with Looker and SQL is strongly preferred; familiarity with BigQuery and Python is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, digestible insights, narratives, and recommendations to a variety of audiences.
- General familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and eCommerce performance metrics is a nice to have but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 (Tier 3). The final compensation offer will ultimately be based on several considerations, such as the candidate’s location, skill level and experience. For candidates located outside of the target geographic area, base salary hiring ranges will be adjusted accordingly.
