Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Supervisor at the Polaris/Walker Evans shock manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production lines stay up and running. Leading a team responsible for receiving and managing parts inventory, your efforts will directly impact our ability to meet production goals with minimal disruptions. You’ll have the opportunity to optimize warehouse operations, implement best practices, and build Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of four warehouse staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities.
Oversee hiring, termination, and performance management, ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently.
Plan and assign daily tasks and workloads, optimizing productivity and resource allocation.
Ensure product quality standards are met, maintaining accuracy in receiving and inventory control.
Motivate and hold team members accountable, using coaching, discipline, and recognition to drive high performance.
Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance and teamwork.
Identify and remove barriers to success, using data-driven problem-solving to improve operations.
Support and sustain continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience managing a team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Experience in inventory management, with a strong understanding of the Receiving function.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Inventory Management Systems or MRP software (highly preferred).
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds.
The pay range for California
is
$75,000
to
$90,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
