Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Attorney located in Stamford, CT. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients achieve their immigration goals. This role involves representing clients in primarily family- and employment-based affirmative immigration filings, preparing legal documents, and providing strategic legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including family-based and employment-based immigration cases.
- Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for various immigration benefits.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on the latest developments in immigration law and policy.
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and provide strategic guidance on immigration options.
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and ensure timely case management.
- Attend hearings, interviews, and court proceedings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and case files.
Qualifications
- Bar admission in any state
- 3+ years of immigration law experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Perks
- Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience
- Annual performance bonus
- 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday
