Position Overview: * Position : Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist * Location : Near Greensboro, NC * Dates : ASAP - Ongoing * Rate Type : Daily * Shift Type : Days * Shift Description : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM * For Mammography: Monday through Friday preferred; will accept Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Please Note : This is not a 100% Interventional Radiology (IR) position and does not include IR call. Key Responsibilities: * Light Interventional Procedures : * Perform non-complex procedures such as: * Image-guided biopsies * Drainages * PICC line placements * Paracentesis and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest) * General Radiology : * Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams, including X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. Systems Used: * EMR : Meditech * PACS : Intelerad * VR : Fluency Submission Requirements: * Board Certification : Required * BLS/ACLS Certification : Required * Active NC License & DEA : Verbal confirmation required at name clear Certification Requirements: * ACLS * BLS * Board Certified * DEA State License Requirements: * North Carolina Additional Information: * Reason for Coverage : Temporary coverage needed starting November 1st. * Special Note : This position focuses on light interventional responsibilities and routine diagnostic radiology, making it ideal for radiologists who prefer a mix of these areas without full IR responsibilities.
