Senior Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research

Key Responsibilities: As the Senior Director of HEOR, you will lead the development and execution of HEOR strategies to support product value propositions and market access. Your role will involve collaborating cross-functionally to generate, analyze, and communicate evidence that demonstrates the clinical and economic value of our clients’ therapies. Our client is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative treatments and data-driven decision-making and they are committed to transforming healthcare by leveraging real-world evidence, economic modeling, and strategic research. Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee HEOR strategies to support regulatory, reimbursement, and market access decisions. Lead evidence generation initiatives, including economic modeling, real-world evidence (RWE) studies, and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) research. Provide strategic input into clinical development programs to ensure alignment with HEOR objectives. Research & Evidence Generation: Design and execute health economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact). Develop and implement real-world evidence (RWE) strategies using claims data, electronic health records (EHR), and registries. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to integrate HEOR insights into decision-making. Engage with external stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, and policy makers, to communicate the value of our products. Represent the company at advisory boards, and payer meetings. Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop HEOR team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Manage relationships with external vendors and academic partners. Oversee HEOR budgets and resource allocation to maximize impact. Qualifications: Education: PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master’s degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biostatistics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical or biotech. Demonstrated expertise in health economic modeling, real-world evidence (RWE) methodologies, and patient-reported outcomes (PRO). Proven track record of successful payer engagement and market access support. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Knowledge of global HEOR regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
