Are you passionate about optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring workplace safety? We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to play a key role in designing and enhancing work environments, labor management tools, and production planning strategies. This role will focus on process optimization, equipment layout design, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization & Efficiency

  • Analyze and improve workflows to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
  • Develop and maintain process improvements to maximize space, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Facility & Equipment Design

  • Design and develop workspaces, equipment layouts, and production planning strategies.
  • Oversee facility enhancements to improve operational efficiency and worker safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ergonomic and automation solutions.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety training programs.

Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.
  • Collect and analyze data to support key performance indicators and compliance reporting.
  • Lead projects focused on operational excellence and sustainability initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in process improvement, facilities design, or production optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and industrial safety standards.
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
