Position Summary:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing production processes. The role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, implementing new technologies, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The engineer will work closely with other departments, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall production output.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Troubleshoot production issues related to machinery, equipment, or process flow. Work with maintenance teams to identify and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime. Lead and manage process improvement projects from initiation to completion. Design and develop new processes or modify existing ones to enhance manufacturing capabilities, improve product quality, or meet customer specifications. Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and propose adjustments or improvements to increase efficiency. Work with the quality control team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet industry standards and customer specifications. Assist in the development of quality assurance procedures. Ensure that all processes are compliant with local and international safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Implement safety procedures and train staff on safety protocols. Note:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably within the aluminum manufacturing or metals industry. Strong understanding of process control and optimization in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using process simulation software and other engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).
