Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction and operations of our nonprofit corporation, ensuring the fulfillment of the organization’s mission. The CEO will provide visionary leadership, manage key relationships with stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and board members, and ensure financial health and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute the strategic plan of the corporation, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and vision. Cultivate and manage relationships with donors, corporate partners, board members, and key community stakeholders to enhance support for the organization. Oversee fundraising efforts to ensure financial sustainability and support the granting of wishes. Advocate for the organization’s cause and raise awareness on a national and global scale. Foster a positive organizational culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and a strong commitment to the mission. Collaborate with chapter leaders to ensure consistent and effective program delivery across all locations. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all organizational operations. Qualifications: Proven leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization. Exceptional communication, fundraising, and public relations skills. Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets. Ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, donors, and the broader community. Passion for children’s well-being and making a positive impact on their lives. Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Nonprofit Management, or a related field is highly preferred. Additional certifications or training in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or other related areas would be a plus. Seniority level
