Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and meticulous Accounting Manager with experience in accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire audit process, managing income tax, and leading the accounting operations for multiple companies, ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire audit process, coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Manage income tax and ensure compliance with fiscal and labor regulations (Department of Treasury, Labor, and State).
- Administer and coordinate the accounting operations of multiple companies within the corporate group.
- Prepare advanced financial reports for management, providing analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Optimize accounting and financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of records and financial statements.
- Lead the accounting department, fostering a team-oriented, respectful, and confidential work environment.
- Negotiate contracts and benefits to optimize costs and financial resources.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all financial and accounting areas.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA required.
- Experience: 5-10 years in accounting, auditing, or finance. Experience in an audit firm is a plus.
- Accounting systems: Advanced experience with DYNAMICS, SAGE, and Excel.
- Key skills: Organization, multitasking, attention to detail, professional ethics, discretion, and legal compliance.
- Languages: Bilingual English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Leadership: Ability to lead the accounting department and manage multiple companies.
- Regulatory knowledge: Compliance with tax laws, financial reporting, and regulations from the Department of Treasury, Labor, and State.
