We are hiring an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) with a robust background in Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support secure systems across Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR) environments. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work, leveraging Azure cloud technologies to design, implement, and maintain secure information systems. The ISSE will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD security standards, mitigate risks, and enhance system resilience. Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Integration: Architect and manage secure cloud-based systems using Azure technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, to support hybrid cloud deployments. NIPR/SIPR Support: Provide security engineering support for both NIPR and SIPR networks, ensuring secure connectivity, data protection, and compliance with classification requirements. Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard systems against threats in on-premises and cloud environments. Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain RMF artifacts (e.g., System Security Plans, POA&Ms, Risk Assessment Reports) and ensure continuous monitoring and compliance with DoD and federal regulations. Collaboration: Work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity teams to integrate security controls and troubleshoot issues across hybrid environments. Incident Response: Support security incident investigations and remediation efforts, providing technical expertise to resolve vulnerabilities and enhance system defenses.
