Fort Myers, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for the Certified Diabetes Educator:
Provides individual and group diabetes education in outpatient settings, both in-person and via telehealth. Facilitates Diabetes Prevention Program sessions to support patients in managing and preventing diabetes. Shift : 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Benefits for the Certified Diabetes Educator:

Accrues immediately, use after 30 days, 7.4 hours for every 80 hours worked Student Loan & Education Support : Public Service Loan Forgiveness, education assistance, and CEU reimbursement. Onsite Childcare! Required Qualifications for the Certified Diabetes Educator:
Associate degree required in health-related profession. Minimum of 2 years experience professional practice experience in Diabetes Self-Management Education required. Minimum of 1000 hours in Diabetes Self-Management Education within the past 5 years preferred. CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) Required. National Registration as an RD (if dietitian) required. Current license as an RN in the State of Florida or Florida Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist Compensation Notes:
$30.27 - 54.03/hour
