SUMMARY:
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible to design and operationalize user-friendly plans and programs to support the KIDZ mission and to maximize employee engagement. The position will provide direction, coordination and overall management of all HR functions and its alignment to the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees all Human Resources functions of the organization, under the guidance of the Executive team, including but not limited to:
Compensation, benefits, and leave Disciplinary matters, including disputes and investigations Performance management Talent management- recruitment, onboarding, retention Culture, employee engagement, recognition, and morale Occupational health and safety Compliance with federal and state laws and reporting Training and development.
Responsible for building/implementing, maintaining and optimizing our HRIS system (ADP) as well as our learning platform (Relias). Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs. Builds strong relationships with employees and managers to maintain a positive pulse on employee relations and engagement. Manage sand participates in (as necessary) employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Manages and coordinates onboarding and offboarding processes, including planning and facilitating New Employee Orientation, conducting exit interviews, and providing actionable recommendations based on feedback. Partners with Operational and Clinical leaders to identify staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system. Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management. Assist in developing and delivering HR-related training programs such as Harassment Prevention, Performance Management, Conflict Management, leadership development topics, and other supervisory training. Provides tools and resources to leaders to help them effectively interviewing, hiring, onboard and train new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Occasional travel to office locations may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job directly supervises the Benefits & HR Coordinator and provides guidance to Manager of Physician Credentialing and Recruitment. Supports all leaders and teams throughout the organization. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Certificates, licenses and registrations preferred: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred. Experience utilizing ADP payroll, recruitment, and performance management systems strongly preferred. Other skills required:
Minimum of 3-5 years of human resource management experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and negotiation skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
