We are hiring the Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Arlington, TX.
The Quality Engineer ensures that products, processes, and systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. They develop and implement quality control procedures, conduct testing, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, IPC standards).
Analyze production data, identify defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement process improvements.
Perform audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure raw materials and components meet quality requirements.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection reports, and test plans.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
Use statistical methods and quality tools (such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D) to analyze and improve product quality.
Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards for Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
Experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing processes and quality standards.
IPC-A-610 Certified (Mandatory for electronics manufacturing industries).
Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in quality inspection tools and software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) – ASQ (American Society for Quality)
Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt)
Additional IPC Certifications (IPC-7711/7721, IPC-J-STD-001)
