Position Overview: As an IT Support Specialist, you will support the IT department by handling on-site user requests, ensuring compliance with ticketing procedures, and assisting with inventory management. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about IT and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

User Support:

Respond to on-site user requests and provide technical assistance. Guide users through the ticket submission process, ensuring all requests are properly documented before providing support. Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as necessary.

Ticketing Management:

Monitor and manage the IT helpdesk system, ensuring all user requests are logged and addressed in a timely manner. Track the progress of open tickets and follow up with users as needed.

Inventory Management:

Assist with the organization and tracking of IT inventory, including hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate records. Help manage the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to decommissioning.

Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the IT department as needed. Assist with documentation of IT processes and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT hardware. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a technical support role or familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus. Benefits:
