Job Description: QA/QE Lead (Playwright, Appium) We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QE Lead with expertise in Playwright and Appium to drive our test automation strategy. The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role demands strong automation experience, hands-on scripting abilities, and leadership skills to enhance testing frameworks and improve CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years as a QA Lead/QE Lead. Strong expertise in Playwright and Appium for test automation. Experience with test automation for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs. Hands-on scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies,

DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with

version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with cloud testing platforms Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good to have Skills :

Knowledge of Gauge framework Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Leadership Define and implement QA best practices, automation strategies, and test frameworks. Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers in test automation and quality engineering initiatives. Ensure alignment of QA processes with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies. Automation & Framework Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Gauge, and Appium. Create scalable and reusable test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Optimize test execution time and improve reliability of automation suites. Functional, API, and Performance Testing Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases. Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify bottlenecks and improve performance. Defect Management & Reporting Identify, document, and track defects. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve software reliability .Continuous Improvement & Collaboration Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and quality engineering. Drive test automation adoption across teams and advocate for shift-left testing. Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless releases
