Description: Level: 7+ YearsAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled QA/QE Test Lead with strong expertise in Gauge tolead our test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test frameworks, driving quality best practices, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases. This role requires strong hands-on experience with test automation and a deep understanding of Gauge, BDD principles, and modern testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Test Automation & Framework Development'Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Gauge. Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) test cases to improve test readability and maintainability. Develop reusable test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications. Integrate Gauge-based test automation with CI/CD pipelinesQuality Engineering & Testing Strategy Define test automation strategies aligned with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices. Lead the creation and execution of functional, regression, integration,and performance test suites. Work closely with developers to implement shift-left testing and improve early defect detection. Optimize test execution efficiency and ensure test scalability.Collaboration & Leadership Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in adopting Gauge-based automation. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to align onquality objectives. Advocate for test automation best practices and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Troubleshoot automation failures and provide insights to enhance teststability.Defect Management & Reporting Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, TestRail, or equivalent. Provide detailed test reports and quality insights to stakeholders. Support root cause analysis and work towards reducing defect leakage.
