Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Foubister Architects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality designs. As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate all phases of project development from initial client meetings through project completion. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal team members.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and other professionals to create project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the projects, ensuring that all project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Identify and resolve any potential project challenges or issues, ensuring the smooth flow of work.
- Assist with project proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment within the team and with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an architectural or design firm.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience using project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana, MS Project).
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiation.
