About the Role


We are looking for a PR & Communications Specialist to lead public relations, media outreach, and brand reputation management across our desktop and mobile product lines. This person will play a centralized role in crafting compelling brand narratives, securing media coverage, managing reputation, and driving awareness for several mobile and desktop products across the company.

This role is ideal for a strategic communicator who can craft engaging press materials, build media relationships, monitor brand sentiment, and ensure a consistent and positive brand presence across various channels.


Key Responsibilities


Public Relations & Media Outreach


  • Develop and distribute press releases for product launches, partnerships, and company updates to secure media coverage.
  • Proactively pitch to journalists, bloggers, and influencers to generate positive press for our brands.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key media contacts, ensuring strong industry visibility.
  • Identify and pursue PR opportunities to increase brand awareness across all teams and product lines.
  • Monitor media mentions and industry trends to identify relevant PR angles.


Brand Reputation & Crisis Management


  • Monitor and analyze brand sentiment across news, social media, and review platforms.
  • Address negative press and coordinate crisis communication strategies when needed.
  • Work with internal teams to flag and escalate harmful articles and secure removals when appropriate.
  • Generate positive online reviews and engage with user feedback across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with customer support and marketing to refine messaging and address public concerns.


Influencer & Social Media Relations


  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with social influencers, bloggers, and content creators to boost brand awareness.
  • Develop influencer campaigns that align with PR and brand marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, high-impact content for social media and digital platforms.
  • Track and analyze influencer performance metrics to measure impact and optimize strategies.


Internal & External Communications


  • Write and distribute company announcements, updates, and thought leadership pieces for internal and external audiences.
  • Manage and update internal Slack channels with key PR updates, press releases, blog posts, and company news.
  • Craft messaging and materials for executive speaking opportunities, interviews, and press statements.
  • Ensure all public-facing content aligns with our brand voice and messaging.


What We’re Looking For


  • 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, or brand marketing.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills for press releases, pitches, and brand messaging.
  • Experience securing media coverage and building relationships with journalists.
  • Knowledge of crisis communication strategies and reputation management.
  • Proven experience in finding and managing social influencers for brand collaborations.
  • Ability to analyze brand sentiment, PR performance metrics, and social media trends.
  • A go-getter with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Social media management, content creation, and design experience are a plus.
  • Experience in SEO, ASO, and brand marketing are also nice to have.
