The
Quality Engineer
will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the design, production, and final delivery of our machinery and equipment. This position involves working closely with various departments to ensure that products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality control processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a full-time onsite position in Vacaville, CA. Main Responsibilities Oversee the quality assurance process across all stages of production. Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and testing methods for machinery and components. Perform and manage inspections and tests on machinery to ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. Utilize inspection tools, gauges, and software for precise measurements. Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and non-conformances. Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality problems and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Generate regular quality reports and summaries for internal stakeholders, management, and external clients as needed. Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials, components, and parts meet required standards. Perform supplier audits and collaborate on improvement initiatives. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, including Six Sigma or Lean initiatives, aimed at enhancing quality, reducing waste, and optimizing production efficiency. Ensure that manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the food and beverage machinery sector. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in food or beverage machinery sector or similar. Strong knowledge of quality control methods. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
