Form4 Architecture has a position available for a Project Architect with a minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience.

Position Title: Project Architect

The Project Architects at Form4 play a critical role in designing and delivering exceptional architectural projects. This opening represents an excellent opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative team while working on inspiring architectural projects.


Responsibilities and Duties:

- Prepare project schedules and work plans. Plan and oversee project documentation

- Apply firm standards and conduct ongoing QC review of the documents

- Review project regarding construction standards, code, and ADA requirements

- Collaborate with the project team members on design solutions and documentation

- Resolve complex technical / design issues

- Communicate with consultants and authorities having jurisdiction

- Develop construction documentation drawings and provide construction administration duties

- Lead the production team


Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Project Architect on suitable commercial office, school, and retail projects in terms of type and size with a minimum of 8 years in the role.

- Experience leading, managing, and mentoring a project team

- Strong organization, communication, and relationship management skills

- Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail

- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam required, and Indesign preferred

- A well-developed design sense and excellent graphical skills

- Strong understanding of building materials, details, and construction techniques.

- Ability to develop excellent construction drawing details that support ambitious design solutions

- Architectural license in the State of California
