The QTI Group is proud to partner with The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce to find their next Communications Manager . The Communications Manager will oversee the Chamber’s communication strategy and aim to advance the business community’s collective mission and vision through a variety of mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication: Develop and execute strategies that align with the Chamber's objectives with a keen understanding of policy and advocacy messaging.
- Content Creation: Create and manage content for external platforms including the Chamber’s website, e-newsletter, social media, press releases and email communication in the Chamber’s voice.
- Press and External Affairs: Build and maintain strong relationships with member businesses, media and community partners, leveraging connectivity to bolster earned media opportunities for the Chamber and its members.
- Data and AI Integration: Explore and implement data-driven tools and strategies to optimize communication efforts as well as new technology such as chatbots for member inquiries and personalized email campaigns.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent and cohesive branding that reflects the Chamber's identity and values in materials including press releases, executive talking points, membership brochures, event programs and more.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in communications, journalism, public relations or related field
- Proven experience working independently in a communications role within a membership association, advocacy organization or political setting
- Experience utilizing MailChimp, WordPress, Canva and other communications software programs
- Experience in social media account management and content creation
