RPG Developer- direct hire opportunity, fully onsite in Las Vegas, NV
In our organization, the RPG Developer is responsible for analyzing and programming applications on the IBMi system. In this role you will be responsible for developing readable and maintainable code, testing and debugging systems and providing support.
Responsibilities Perform analysis, coding and testing using all forms of RPGLE including free form and embedded SQL, CLLE, DDL, and DDS. Develop procedures, sub-procedures, stored procedures and modular programming Follow best practices and standards as outlined by our leadership team and industry standards. Research problems and questions from operations and business. Write and modify code to perform data conversions for banks, lenders and partners. Work with third-party vendors and business partners Maintain the latest OS version, programming language levels and other industry releases. Required Skills and Experience
minimum of seven years of experience in RPGLE,CLLE,DDL,SQL, and modular coding on the IBMi platform Demonstrate knowledge running applications on the IBMi platform and associated storage and systems Deep knowledge of data communications and data feeding written into applications Preferred Skills and Experience
Knowledge of banking and/or financial services applications four-year degree in computer science or finance
