Position Type: Part-time, adjunct
Compensation: $800 - $950 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI Concord’s Community College, Concord NH
Overview:
NHTI – Concord’s Community College is seeking dedicated and knowledgeable educators to join our Adjunct Faculty Talent Pool in American Sign Language (ASL). This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, promote cultural awareness, and teach essential ASL skills that have real-world applications in various professional and personal settings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in ASL, or mastery of ASL plus a Master’s degree in Education or at least 18 graduate credits ASL, Education or another relevant field.
- Experience: At least two years teaching ASL at the college level.
- Desired Qualification: Familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS).
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.
Position Responsibilities:
- Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
- Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
